SUMMARY

Lead day-to-day production and warehouse activity in a fast-paced parts operation where hands-on mechanical knowledge, team leadership, and problem solving directly impact output and customer service. This full-time supervisory opportunity offers a stable schedule, strong benefits, and room to build new skills while working with production equipment, warehouse systems, and cross-functional teams.


RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Lead and coordinate daily employee assignments to maintain safe, accurate, and efficient production flow.
  • Track active jobs through digital work systems, prioritize urgent requests, and help ensure orders are completed on schedule.
  • Troubleshoot production equipment, tools, and part-related issues to reduce downtime and keep work moving.
  • Read part drawings, measurements, and specifications to verify product accuracy and support quality requirements.
  • Operate and oversee safe use of production machinery, air tools, fabrication equipment, and material-handling vehicles.
  • Partner with engineering and other departments to resolve part defects, equipment concerns, and workflow issues.
  • Use Excel and internal systems to maintain production information, product needs, reports, and team performance data.
  • Support picking, staging, order preparation, and other warehouse processes as needed.
  • Respond to customer-service requests involving special instructions, expedited work, or order priorities.
  • Promote adaptability, accountability, teamwork, and continuous improvement across the operation.


QUALIFICATIONS

  • Minimum 5 years of experience in a machine shop or manufacturing environment required; production or warehouse supervisory experience strongly preferred.
  • Spanish language skills required.
  • Strong mechanical aptitude; automotive parts or related mechanical experience preferred.
  • Ability to interpret technical drawings, specifications, measurements, and use appropriate measuring tools.
  • Experience with production machinery and warehouse equipment; familiarity with order pickers, turret trucks, sit-down forklifts, pacer forklifts, and reach trucks is valuable.
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Excel, digital work portals, reporting, and basic production data tracking.
  • Strong written and verbal communication, organization, problem-solving, and administrative skills.
  • Ability to lead through changing priorities, meet deadlines, and keep a team productive in a fast-paced environment.
  • Availability for a first-shift schedule with flexibility to support second-shift operations when needed.
