A well established residential property management company in Edgewater is seeking a Property Management Administrative Assistant to join their team temporarily with the potential to convert to a permanent employee. This fully onsite opportunity offers a competitive pay rate of $20/hour during the temporary period and a salary of $58-60k should it move to a permanent position. It is ideal for a detail-oriented, customer focused professional looking to gain valuable experience in residential property management. Working closely with the property management team, this individual will assist with the day-today operations of the community, including resident communication, administrative support, vendor coordination, and overall property management functions to help ensure a positive living experience for residents and the smooth operation of the property.
Responsibilities of the Property Management Administrative Assistant:
- Support the daily operations of a residential community while assisting with administrative, operational, and resident service functions.
- Serve as a professional and responsive point of contact for residents, vendors, and prospective tenants.
- Assist with resident inquiries, maintenance requests, move-ins, move-outs, and general lease administration.
- Maintain accurate resident files, property records, correspondence, and other documentation with exceptional attention to detail.
- Coordinate with maintenance staff and outside vendors to ensure timely completion of work orders and ongoing property needs.
- Assist with rent collection tracking, invoice processing, reporting, and additional administrative responsibilities as needed.
- Support property inspections, resident initiatives, and special projects while contributing to an outstanding resident experience.
Qualifications of the Property Management Administrative Assistant:
- High school diploma required; Associate's or Bachelor's degree preferred, ideally in Business, Real Estate, Property Management, or a related field.
- Previous experience in administrative support, customer service, hospitality, leasing, or property management is preferred.
- Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, including Excel, Word, and Outlook.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills with a professional, service-oriented approach.
- Self-motivated, adaptable, and able to work both independently and collaboratively within a team environment.
