- Pay Rate: $61,000–$100,000/year
Role Summary
This role sits within the Quality Assurance Department and reports to the Director of Quality Assurance, with responsibility for leading a team of 10+ direct reports. The position works closely with Operations, Engineering, Manufacturing, suppliers, and customers in an aerospace manufacturing environment. Key responsibilities include corrective and preventive actions (CAR/PAR), failure and root cause analysis, internal QMS audits, AS9100 audits, quality metrics, SOP development and training, specification control drawings, and coordination with external testing laboratories. The role has a direct impact on maintaining quality standards, supporting customer requirements, and continuously improving manufacturing processes.
Required Qualifications
- 5+ years of experience in Quality, including 1+ year in a leadership role
- Bachelor’s degree in a STEM field or equivalent commensurate experience
- Experience working in an AS9100 or ISO 9001 environment
- Proficiency with Microsoft Word, Excel, Outlook, and Project
- Strong leadership and team-management experience
- Stable work history with reasons for job changes documented on the resume
Preferred Skills
- Experience with crystal oscillators, microelectronics, MIL-PRF-55310, or MIL-STD-883
- Familiarity with hybrid and/or PCB construction, MIL-PRF-38534, or IPC-A-610
- Experience in aerospace electronics manufacturing
- Experience with PCB manufacturing and inspection
