Remote Accounts Payable Specialist

Are you an experienced Accounts Payable professional who thrives in a high-volume environment? Are you fluent in Japanese and English and highly detail-oriented?

We’re looking for a skilled Accounts Payable Specialist to join our team in a fully remote position.

What You’ll Do

• Process a high volume of invoices accurately and efficiently
• Perform 3-way matching and verify invoices against purchase orders and receiving documents
• Review and resolve invoice discrepancies
• Prepare and process vendor payments
• Maintain accurate vendor records and AP documentation
• Respond to vendor inquiries and resolve payment-related issues
• Assist with account reconciliations and month-end close
• Communicate professionally with Japanese- and English-speaking vendors and internal teams
• Help maintain efficient AP processes in a fast-paced environment

What We’re Looking For

• Experience in Accounts Payable or accounting operations
• Proven ability to manage high-volume invoice processing
• Fluent in Japanese and English, both written and verbal
• Strong attention to detail and accuracy
• Excellent organizational and time-management skills
• Ability to prioritize multiple deadlines in a remote environment
• Experience with accounting/ERP systems
• Strong communication and problem-solving skills
• Ability to work independently while collaborating effectively with a distributed team
