Position Summary
We are seeking a highly motivated Senior Accountant to support financial reporting, month-end close activities, audit preparation, account reconciliations, and process improvement initiatives.
The ideal candidate will possess strong technical accounting skills, a continuous improvement mindset, and the ability to thrive in a dynamic, multi-entity environment.
Key Responsibilities
Financial Reporting & Close Activities
- Prepare monthly financial statement packages
- Assist with quarterly and annual financial reporting requirements
- Support month-end close activities, including journal entries and accruals
- Prepare and review account reconciliations, including bank reconciliations
- Ensure financial records are complete, accurate, and properly supported
- Assist with intercompany accounting and reconciliation processes
Cross-Functional Collaboration
- Cross-train with Treasury and Accounts Payable teams to enhance business continuity
- Support cash management and banking-related activities as needed
- Collaborate with finance leadership and business partners on ongoing initiatives
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance
Strong understanding of:
- Financial statement preparation
- Month-end close processes
- Journal entries and accruals
- Account reconciliations
- Intercompany accounting
- Advanced Microsoft Excel skills
- Excellent analytical, organizational, and problem-solving abilities
- Strong written and verbal communication skills
- Experience improving accounting processes through documentation, automation, and continuous improvement initiatives
- High degree of integrity and professionalism
