Senior Accountant Financial Reporting

Grayson Search has partnered with a global company in Chicago on a Senior SEC Accountant role. Great opportunity for someone to work on complex finance functions with a reputable company known for its scale, strong industry reputation, and sophisticated financial operations.

The ideal candidate would bring 2.5-4 years of public accounting experience with their CPA or CPA in progress. Compensation is up to $100K base + 10% bonus.

• Prepare and support quarterly and annual SEC filings, including 10-Qs and 10-Ks, along with consolidated financial statements and related disclosures.
• Research U.S. GAAP and SEC guidance, assist with complex accounting matters, and prepare technical accounting documentation.
• Partner with accounting, FP&A, tax, legal, and external auditors on financial reporting, SOX, and accounting-related projects.
• Take on process improvement initiatives and special projects while gaining broad exposure to a sophisticated corporate accounting function.
