Senior Manager, Clinical Outsourcing & Vendor Management

📍 Hybrid | Foster City, CA or Parsippany, NJ

We are seeking an experienced Senior Manager, Clinical Outsourcing & Vendor Management

Own the end-to-end sourcing and contracting process for CROs supporting Phase 2/3 clinical trials, with a heavy focus on contract negotiation, financial/budget analysis, bid defense, and stakeholder management.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead end-to-end outsourcing activities including RFI/RFPs, vendor selection, bid defenses, contract negotiations, change orders, and contract closeout.
• Develop and execute clinical sourcing strategies that drive value, quality, and operational excellence.
• Manage CRO and vendor relationships, performance, and compliance.
• Partner cross-functionally with Clinical Operations, Legal, Regulatory, Compliance, and Finance teams.
• Negotiate complex clinical service agreements and manage vendor-related risks.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree required; MBA, JD, PMP, or CPSM preferred.
• Significant experience in clinical outsourcing, vendor management, strategic sourcing, or clinical operations within biotech, pharma, or CRO environments.
• Strong expertise in CRO management, contract negotiations, and clinical development.
• Experience supporting Phase 1–3 clinical trials; Cell Therapy experience is a plus.
