Our client is seeking a Senior Project Manager to join the Markets Transformation and Program Execution team, supporting strategic and regulatory initiatives related to Capital and Risk-Weighted Assets (RWA) across Markets. The ideal candidate will have strong program/project management experience within Capital Markets, a solid understanding of Markets products and trading processes, and the ability to work across business, technology, finance, and data teams. This is a hands-on delivery role requiring someone who can quickly understand complex concepts, manage multiple workstreams, and effectively engage senior stakeholders.

Location: New York, NY (hybrid)

Duration: 09 Months (Possible Extension/Conversion)

Responsibilities

• Lead the delivery of regulatory and strategic initiatives related to RWA calculations and Capital Markets products, taking ownership of key project workstreams.
• Partner daily with Business, Finance Transformation, Technology, and other functional teams to ensure requirements are understood, implemented, and delivered on schedule.
• Lead workshops and working sessions to gather requirements, define deliverables, establish project plans, and manage timelines.
• Manage cross-functional dependencies and coordinate end-to-end delivery across business and technology teams.
• Proactively identify risks, issues, and delivery challenges and drive timely resolution or escalation.
• Provide regular updates to senior stakeholders, including project status, risks, issues, milestones, and key decisions.
• Develop clear and impactful presentations and project artifacts for governance forums and senior management.
• Manage multiple workstreams simultaneously while maintaining strong attention to detail and delivery accountability.

Qualifications

• 10+ years of relevant project/program delivery experience, preferably within Capital Markets.
• Strong experience managing Markets Capital, RWA, regulatory, or financial transformation initiatives.
• Strong understanding of Capital Markets products, particularly Fixed Income; exposure to Securitization is highly preferred.
• Experience working across business, technology, data, and finance teams in complex transformation programs.
• Understanding of the software development lifecycle and experience coordinating end-to-end technology delivery.
• Strong knowledge of project planning, dependency management, risk/issue management, and governance.
• Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills, with the ability to engage and influence senior executives.
• Highly organized, proactive, and comfortable managing multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.

Preferred Qualifications

• Strong understanding of end-to-end trade lifecycle and Capital Markets processing.
• Experience with Derivatives and/or Securities Financing Transactions (SFTs).
• Business SME or business management experience within one or more Markets product areas.
• Experience supporting Capital, RWA, regulatory reporting, or risk transformation initiatives.
