Senior Sales Account Executive

Full job description
Who We Are
Atlas Cloud is a rapidly growing AI infrastructure and platform company that helps developers and enterprises build, deploy, and scale AI applications. Our platform provides unified access to advanced AI models and GPU-powered infrastructure through flexible, usage-based pricing. As customer adoption and transaction volumes grow, we are building the financial and operational foundation needed to support a scalable, data-driven, and globally competitive business.
About the Role
Atlas Cloud is looking for a Senior Sales Account Executive to drive new revenue and grow strategic customer relationships across our AI infrastructure business.
This is a high-ownership, full-cycle sales role for someone who knows how to build pipeline, uncover real customer needs, navigate technical sales conversations, negotiate complex commercial terms, and close.
You'll work with AI-native companies, technology startups, developers, and enterprise customers whose infrastructure needs can grow quickly. You'll be expected to understand both the business opportunity and the customer's technical requirements, bringing in our technical and product teams when needed to design the right solution.
We're looking for a seller who is comfortable creating opportunities rather than waiting for them. You'll own relationships from first conversation through contract and expansion, with direct accountability for pipeline and revenue.
Key Responsibilities
- Own the full sales cycle — manage opportunities from prospecting and qualification through discovery, technical evaluation, proposal, negotiation, contracting, and close.
- Build and close new business — identify high-potential customers, develop relationships with key decision-makers, and consistently convert opportunities into revenue.
- Create your own pipeline — develop and execute targeted outbound strategies across AI-native companies, technology startups, SaaS businesses, and organizations with significant AI infrastructure or compute needs.
- Convert inbound demand — quickly qualify inbound opportunities, identify accounts with meaningful growth potential, and turn early usage or initial interest into larger commercial relationships.
- Lead consultative discovery — understand what customers are building, their technical requirements, current infrastructure, usage patterns, business priorities, and growth plans to identify the right solution.
- Navigate technical sales conversations — confidently discuss AI infrastructure, cloud, compute, APIs, and related technical concepts while partnering with technical teams for deeper solution design when needed.
- Develop strategic accounts — build relationships beyond the initial buyer, identify expansion opportunities, and grow high-potential customers into significant long-term accounts.
- Lead complex negotiations — manage pricing, usage commitments, contract structures, procurement, and other commercial terms across multiple stakeholders.
- Drive renewals and expansion — stay close to customers after the initial sale, understand evolving needs, and identify opportunities to increase usage and revenue over time.
- Build executive relationships — establish credibility with founders, engineering and technical leaders, procurement teams, and C-suite stakeholders.
- Bring the market back to AtlasCloud — share customer feedback, competitive intelligence, emerging use cases, and market trends with product and leadership teams.
- Maintain a disciplined pipeline — keep CRM data accurate, forecast realistically, understand funnel performance, and maintain clear visibility into where deals stand and what is needed to close.
Qualifications
- 5+ years of B2B sales or business development experience with a demonstrated track record of closing and growing meaningful accounts.
- Proven history of meeting or exceeding revenue targets in a quota-carrying role.
- Experience selling AI infrastructure, cloud, compute, APIs, developer tools, SaaS, or other technical products is strongly preferred.
- Strong outbound sales capabilities. You're comfortable identifying target accounts, creating an entry point, and building relationships from the ground up.
- Experience navigating complex sales cycles involving technical, business, finance, procurement, and legal stakeholders.
- Ability to sell consultatively rather than relying on transactional or product-led sales alone.
- Strong commercial judgment and experience negotiating pricing, contracts, and larger customer commitments.
- Ability to communicate effectively with both technical and non-technical audiences, from engineers and developers to founders and executives.
- Experience managing and expanding strategic accounts after the initial close.
- Strong pipeline management and forecasting discipline.
- Comfortable operating independently in a fast-paced startup environment with ambitious revenue expectations.
Preferred Qualifications
We're especially interested in candidates who have sold into or worked closely with:
- AI-native or generative AI companies
- AI application and model companies
- Cloud or GPU infrastructure
- Compute-intensive technology companies
- API or developer-focused products
- SaaS and technology startups
- Engineering, ML/AI, or technical leadership teams
- Marketing, Digital, Entertainment industries
What Success Looks Like
- You're a closer. You enjoy the process of turning an opportunity into revenue and know how to maintain momentum when deals become complicated.
- You're a hunter. You don't expect all of your opportunities to come inbound. You're comfortable identifying the companies AtlasCloud should be working with and creating a path into those accounts.
- You're curious about what customers are actually building. You ask enough questions to understand the technical use case and business opportunity before proposing a solution.
- You can sell technical products without hiding behind the technical team. You don't need to be an engineer, but you can learn the product deeply enough to lead credible conversations and know when to bring in technical expertise.
- You understand that the first contract isn't the finish line. You look for customers that can grow significantly over time and actively develop those relationships.
- You're comfortable with complexity. Multiple stakeholders, technical evaluations, pricing discussions, procurement, and contract negotiations don't intimidate you.
- You operate with urgency. You follow up, keep deals moving, identify blockers early, and don't wait for someone else to tell you the next step.
- You want ownership. You're excited by the opportunity to directly influence AtlasCloud's revenue growth rather than stepping into a narrowly defined sales process.
Compensation: $140- $160k base + commission + equity
