Key Responsibilities

- Analyze payroll, tax, and compensation-related transactions to ensure accuracy and compliance.
- Reconcile payroll-related bank activity and support month-end and year-end close processes.
- Assist with budgeting, forecasting, external audits, and internal reporting.
- Partner with payroll providers and internal stakeholders to support payroll tax compliance and reporting.
- Support travel and expense accounting, including monthly accruals, reimbursements, and audit reviews.
- Generate payroll and workforce-related financial reports and analyses for management.
- Participate in system implementations, process enhancements, and business integration projects.
- Collaborate with accounting, finance, HR, and payroll teams to improve workflows and controls.
- Provide backup support for payroll administration functions as needed.
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
- 3+ years of accounting experience, including payroll accounting, compensation accounting, or a closely related area.
- Strong understanding of general ledger accounting, reconciliations, accruals, and financial reporting.
- Experience supporting month-end close activities.
- Advanced Microsoft Excel skills and strong overall systems aptitude.
- Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.
- Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
Why Consider This Opportunity?
- Visible role within a collaborative finance team.
- Mix of accounting, analysis, reporting, and process improvement responsibilities.
- Opportunity to work cross-functionally with finance, HR, and payroll leadership.
- Exposure to systems, integrations, and strategic projects.
- Stable organization with strong growth and long-term career potential.
