Software Deployment Specialist

Rahway, NJ / West Point, PA (hybrid - 2 to 3 days a week)

Must Have’s:

• Agilent OpenLAB CDS 2.x & Chromatography Systems Support

Hands-on experience with Agilent OpenLAB CDS 2.x, chromatography data systems, instrument onboarding, troubleshooting, and support in a regulated laboratory environment.

• AIC Build, Deployment & Technical Troubleshooting

Experience building, deploying, and supporting Agilent Instrument Controllers (AICs), resolving deployment issues, and assisting with laboratory migrations and instrument connectivity.

• Computer System Validation (CSV) / IQ-OQ Documentation

Strong experience preparing and executing IQ/OQ documentation, validation test scripts, lifecycle documentation, and supporting compliance activities in regulated environments.

The Software Deployment Specialist will be responsible in support of the global enterprise Agilent OpenLAB CDS Project. They will be responsible for building and deploying AIC’s, system lifecycle documentation, supporting lab migrations, and assisting with connecting and troubleshooting instrument onboarding.

Core responsibilities include:

• Build and deploy AIC computers located at Merck’s Rahway and West Point sites (on-site support) and remote support for other Merck sites.

• Complete validation or qualification (IQ/OQ) documentation for Merck review and approval.

• Complete comprehensive checklist / test script.

• Resolution of AIC build-related issues.

• Interact with Merck project core and extended teams, attending meetings as necessary.

Required skills/experience:

• 2+ year experience in the use or supporting of chromatography data systems and instrumentation in a regulated environment

• Preferred experience in the use or support of Agilent OpenLAB CDS 2.x chromatography system and instruments

• Excellent written and verbal communication skills, ability to mediate between technical teams and business end users

• Ability to travel to Rahway and West Point, as necessary, for on-site efforts

• Previous experience using JIRA, Xray/Vera, and ServiceNow are a plus.
