Staff Accountant

What You'll Do:

• Prepare and post journal entries, accruals, and other routine accounting transactions.
• Perform account reconciliations and maintain accurate general ledger records.
• Assist with month-end, quarter-end, and year-end close activities.
• Support the preparation of financial reports and help analyze account variances.
• Collaborate with Accounts Payable, Accounts Receivable, Payroll, and operational teams to ensure accurate financial reporting.
• Participate in special projects and process improvement initiatives while gaining exposure to a variety of industries, systems, and business environments.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field preferred.
• 2+ years of accounting experience, including journal entries, reconciliations, and month-end close support.
• Understanding of GAAP and accrual-based accounting principles.
• Experience with ERP systems such as NetSuite, Oracle, SAP, Dynamics, or similar platforms.
• Strong Microsoft Excel skills, including PivotTables, VLOOKUP/XLOOKUP, and data analysis functions.
• Excellent attention to detail, organizational skills, communication abilities, and the ability to adapt to new environments and systems.
