  • Maintain detailed knowledge of unit status and track progress toward unit turnover.
  • Drive subcontractors to complete punch-list items and prepare units for final inspection and delivery.
  • Coordinate unit walks, punch, final inspections, and turnover to ownership/property management.
  • Work closely with the Project Manager, Assistant Project Manager, and subcontractors to resolve field issues.
  • Review plans, specifications, and details to identify potential conflicts or constructability issues.
  • Participate in weekly subcontractor and project coordination meetings.
  • Maintain project schedules and communicate potential delays or issues to the project management team.
  • Ensure all work complies with applicable building codes, safety requirements, and project specifications.
  • Maintain a clean, organized, and safe jobsite throughout construction.
  • Track material deliveries and ensure materials are available when needed to maintain production.
  • Assist with scheduling inspections, coordinating testing, and obtaining required approvals.
  • Provide daily field reports and updates on project progress.

Ideal Background

  • 5+ years of construction superintendent experience, preferably with a multifamily General Contractor.
  • Strong experience with wood-frame multifamily construction.
  • Proven experience managing projects through framing, MEP rough-in, drywall, finishes, punch, and unit turnover.

  • Ability to read and interpret architectural, structural, and MEP drawings.

  • Strong communication, leadership, and problem-solving skills.
  • Ability to work independently and take ownership of field operations.

Preferred Experience

  • Large-scale projects with 100+ units.
  • Experience taking projects from framing through final unit turnover.
  • Experience coordinating MEP rough-in inspections and close-out.
  • Experience working with ownership, developers, architects, and third-party inspectors.
