Location: Onsite - New York City, with the opportunity to work from home one day per week

FLSA: Exempt

Status: Full-Time

Reports To: Head of Sales

Supervises: Depends on level

Pay Range: $95,000 - $125,000 annually, incentives tied to specific categories.

Position Overview

Majesty Brands is seeking an Account Executive to join our growing Sales team. We are also open to considering a Senior Account Executive title for a candidate whose experience and existing relationships support that level.

This position is responsible for managing and growing wholesale business across traditional and non-traditional retailers throughout the United States. The Account Executive will develop strong relationships with existing and prospective accounts, protect and expand current business, identify new opportunities, and partner closely with Design, Production, Planning, and Operations to deliver results.

The ideal candidate is a self-starter who is passionate, creative, commercially minded, and motivated to succeed. This individual should have strong retailer relationships, an entrepreneurial approach to business development, and the ability to identify opportunities and translate them into sustainable sales growth.

Key Responsibilities

• Manage and grow relationships with existing retail accounts while actively pursuing new business opportunities
• Develop sales strategies designed to achieve aggressive growth targets and maximize opportunities across assigned accounts and categories
• Identify and solicit prospective retailers through outreach, cold calling, networking, and existing industry relationships
• Develop account-specific product strategies based on customer needs, sales performance, market trends, and whitespace opportunities
• Present seasonal collections, available inventory, and new product opportunities to retail partners
• Partner with Design and Merchandising to share market insights, retailer feedback, current selling trends, and product opportunities
• Send available inventory and product offerings to retailers on a consistent basis
• Manage customer purchase orders, worksheets, quotes, and item setup requirements
• Enter product information into retailer systems and websites for consideration, quoting, and order placement
• Ensure orders are entered accurately and processed within required timelines
• Partner with Production and Operations to monitor delivery schedules and provide customers with timely shipment updates
• Track weekly sales, inventory, stock levels, and style performance across assigned accounts
• Prepare and maintain sales recaps, line sheets, product presentations, inventory reports, and account updates
• Maintain an organized sample inventory and ensure current products are available for customer presentations
• Proactively identify and resolve order, delivery, inventory, or customer service issues
• Collaborate across product categories and internal departments to support company-wide sales objectives
• Complete additional projects and assignments as directed by Sales leadership

Experience & Skills

• Demonstrated experience managing and growing wholesale retail accounts within the fashion, apparel, accessories, or consumer products industry
• Established retailer relationships and a proven ability to develop new business are strongly preferred
• Strong sales, negotiation, presentation, and relationship-management skills
• Ability to create and execute account strategies that drive revenue and sustainable growth
• Understanding of wholesale sales, product development, production, inventory, and order-management processes
• Experience partnering with overseas production teams or working with products manufactured in China is preferred
• Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret sales, inventory, and performance data
• Excellent written and verbal communication abilities
• Highly organized and detail-oriented, with a strong appreciation for accuracy’
• Impeccable time-management skills and a strong sense of urgency
• Ability to proactively troubleshoot and solve problems in a fast-paced, high-pressure environment
• Ability to hold oneself and others accountable for commitments and outcomes
• Collaborative approach that encourages open communication and teamwork across departments and product categories
• Ability to receive and apply constructive feedback professionally
• Bachelors degree in Fashion Merchandising, Business, Sales, Marketing, or a related field is preferred

Requirements

• 2+ years of relevant wholesale sales experience for Account Executive consideration; more extensive experience and demonstrated account ownership are required for Senior Account Executive consideration
• Commute to this job's location in New York City
• Working in an onsite setting, with the opportunity to work from home one day per week
• Authorized to work in the United States
• Must be authorized to work in the United States without current or future sponsorship requirements.

Salary Disclosure

Majesty Brands is committed to offering a compensation package that reflects the qualifications and experience of the individual. The base salary range for this position is $95,000 - $125,000. This position is also eligible for a bonus or commission structure depending on the assigned product category and scope of the role. Title, base salary, and incentive compensation will be determined based on the selected candidate’s experience, retailer relationships, category expertise, and business-development capabilities. We are open to considering a Senior Account Executive title for the right candidate.
