Pay Range: $90,000.00 – $120,000.00 base salary
Location: Headquarters in Anaheim, CA. Various projects throughout Southern California.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
Role: Project Controls, Documentation & Change Administration Owner
Brief Role Description: Owns project controls, compliance visibility, and documentation discipline to support the Senior PM and protect commercial performance.
- Own Client Performance Tracking and Reporting
- Maintain KPIs, CVM logs, daily logs, dynamic trackers, exception submittals, and other required client reporting tools.
- Manage Submittals and RFIs
- Draft, submit, track, and close submittals and RFIs through Procore or client portals. Maintain accurate logs and visibility of aging items.
- Administer Change Orders and Field Extra Work
- Identify potential change events with field teams, compile backup, draft FEWAs/FCOs, and track approvals and aging.
- Maintain Cost & Commitment Visibility
- Track what the project has spent to date and what it is already committed to spend (labor, equipment, materials, and subcontracts) to maintain an accurate understanding of the project’s current cost position.
- Manage Billing Packages and Revenue Coordination
- Compile billing documentation, manage Dinero workflows, and coordinate with Finance to update the PTL to reflect approved and pending milestone billing and change order status. Track payment status and maintain visibility of billing and collection issues.
- Support Client Meeting Preparation & Follow-Through Accountability
- Ensure the project team is prepared for client meetings, coordinate required updates for assigned agenda items, document commitments made, and track action items to completion.
- Own Project Controls & Compliance Accountability
- Maintain project controls and compliance logs to ensure required documentation is complete, collected, and organized. Track and confirm certified payroll submissions and maintain visibility of any missing items or issues.
Required education:
· B.S. in Engineering, Construction Management, or related field preferred
· Equivalent field or project coordination experience considered in lieu of degree
Required experience:
· 2–5 years of experience supporting construction projects (utility, civil, electrical, or industrial preferred)
· Experience with project documentation, submittals, RFIs, change tracking, or billing support
· Familiarity with transmission, distribution, substation, or utility-scale construction environments preferred
· Strong organizational and documentation discipline
· Ability to manage multiple trackers and workflows simultaneously
· OSHA 30 preferred (or willingness to obtain)
· Valid driver’s license and ability to commute to project sites as required

Types of equipment, machinery, or tools (including computer hardware and software applications), a person in this job be able to competently use in the successful performance of the job duties;
· The Associate Project Manager must be proficient in Microsoft Word, Excel, and Outlook, as well as Bluebeam, Procore, and Adobe. Experience with MS Project and exposure to Primavera P6 is preferred. The role also requires familiarity with construction document management systems and the ability to work within ERP and billing support systems, such as Dinero.
