Title: Plaintiff Personal Injury Litigation Attorney
Location: Los Angeles, CA
Workspace Type: Onsite
Compensation: $130,000 and $375,000, 1–10% settlement bonus
A respected plaintiff-side personal injury Firm in Los Angeles is looking to add a Personal Injury Litigation Attorney to its team. This is an opportunity to work closely with experienced plaintiff attorneys in a practice focused on advocating for individuals who have suffered serious injuries.
The firm has received recognition through Best Lawyers and Super Lawyers, and its attorneys handle a broad range of plaintiff personal injury matters.
Key Responsibilities:
- Handle plaintiff-side personal injury matters from litigation through resolution
- Draft complaints, motions, briefs, discovery, and other substantive filings
- Conduct legal research and prepare high-quality written work product
- Participate in mediations, settlement negotiations, and case strategy meetings
- Evaluate medical records, treatment, damages, and the overall medical workup of each case
- Communicate with clients, medical providers, experts, and opposing counsel
- Collaborate closely with firm leadership on litigation strategy and case development
Qualifications:
- Active California Bar membership in good standing
- 1+ years of personal injury or civil litigation experience
- Strong understanding of the medical workup involved in personal injury cases
- Experience with pleadings, discovery, depositions, motion practice, and settlement negotiations
- Trial experience is a plus
Salary and Other Compensation:
The annual base salary for this position is between $130,000 and $375,000. Factors affecting compensation within this range may include experience, skills, case-handling ability, medical-workup knowledge, and other qualifications of the successful candidate.
