Personal Injury Paralegal

A well-established law firm in Edison, NJ is seeking an experienced Personal Injury Paralegal with 4+ years of experience to join their team. This is an excellent opportunity for a detail-oriented professional looking to grow within a busy and dynamic litigation practice.

Responsibilities

• Assist attorneys in managing personal injury cases from inception through resolution
• Draft and review pleadings, motions, discovery requests and responses, and correspondence
• Gather and organize medical records, bills, and other case-related documentation
• Communicate directly with clients, medical providers, insurance companies, and opposing counsel
• Prepare demand packages and assist with settlement negotiations
• Calendar and track deadlines, court dates, and statute of limitations
• Maintain and organize case files using case management software
• Assist with trial preparation including exhibit organization, witness preparation, and courtroom support

Qualifications

• 4+ years of personal injury paralegal experience required
• Familiarity with New Jersey court procedures and filing requirements
• Strong knowledge of medical terminology and ability to analyze medical records
• Proficiency in case management software
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills
• Strong organizational skills and ability to manage a high-volume caseload

The annual salary for this position is $65,000 - $75,000. Factors which may affect pay within this range may include geography/market, skills, education, experience and other qualifications of the successful candidate.
