Deployment Strategist

Full job description
About the Company
We’re working with a Series A business that’s locked in $30M in funding and backed by S-tier VCs. One founder has already had an exit before, and the cofounder was an early hire at Ramp, so the bar is definitely high. They’re building voice-first AI products in healthcare, focused on a part of the market that is still way more manual than it should be. Worth noting they’re growing quickly too, already at 7 figure ARR, 200+ customers, and looking to add around 10 people before year end.
About the Role
The FDE owns the technical build. This role owns everything around it: discovery, rollout planning, stakeholder buy-in, change management, executive communication, QBRs, and expansion. You'll work within the agency and build trust at every level, from the executives to frontline staff. The goal isn't a clean launch, it's a workflow the customer can't imagine operating without.
What Success Looks Like
- The executives treat our client as an operating partner, not a vendor
- Adoption spreads branch by branch because early results prove the value
- Staff keep using the workflow after the launch team is gone
- QBRs drive real decisions on alignment, expansion, and product direction
- Lessons from your first account shape the playbook for future ones
What You'll Do
- Run hands-on discovery: shadow staff, talk to managers, trace how work and escalations actually move
- Map stakeholders and sequence the rollout
- Run the executive working group: agendas, decisions, accountability
- Stay on as primary point of contact post-launch, resolving issues before they reach the FDE
- Own the QBR: data, narrative, and expansion case
- Lead training and change management so adoption sticks
- Turn recurring friction into concrete product input
What We're Looking For
- 3-5 years in implementation, deployment, customer success, engagement management, or consulting
- Comfortable in technical conversations without being the engineer
- NYC-based, travel as needed
What's Offered
- Competitive base plus meaningful equity with an equipment stipend
- Time off as needed
- Daily lunch and dinner on long nights
- Luxury NYC gym membership
- Happy hours, poker nights, and builder events plus office snacks and perks
