  • Work with newly acquired businesses to integrate them into the company’s platform
  • Perform diligence work on potential acquisitions
  • Develop financial models and business cases to support acquisition integration and platform growth initiatives

  • Partner directly with operating company leadership across 's platform to support strategic and financial decision-making
  • Provide analysis and insight into business performance, job/project profitability, and emerging trends across operating companies
  • Deliver monthly financial reporting, variance analysis, and management commentary to corporate leadership
  • Support operational and commercial reporting that gives service and construction leaders actionable information, not just numbers
  • Identify opportunities for margin improvement, cost optimization, and revenue enhancement across projects and service lines
  • Conduct regular P&L reviews and performance discussions with operating company stakeholders
  • Monitor key financial and operational KPIs, flagging risk and opportunity early
  • Translate complex financial data into clear, plain-language recommendations for non-finance, field-facing leaders
  • Help build a culture of accountability and data-driven decision-making as the company continues to integrate newly acquired companies

What we're looking for:

  • Bachelor's degree in accounting or finance
  • Background in FP&A, commercial finance, or business partnering roles
  • Exposure to project-based (WIP), construction, mechanical/HVAC, or similar industries required
  • Accounting experience preferred
  • Strong budgeting, forecasting, and performance management experience
  • Commercially minded, with the business acumen to sit across the table from operators and project leaders
  • Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills. Comfortable translating finance for the field
  • Ability to influence and constructively challenge decision-making
  • Demonstrated success operating in a high-growth, acquisitive, evolving environment (private equity-backed platform experience a plus)
  • This is a 100% remote role with a target of 50% travel (2 weeks a month) to partner with operations. Candidates must reside in the Metro areas of Houston, TX, Chicago, IL or Miami, FL to be considered.
