Salary: $180K - $225K

Hybrid Schedule: 2 days remote per week

Job Summary:

DNA Partners is representing a respected law firm seeking a junior to mid-level Employment Litigation Associate to join its growing Labor & Employment Practice. This opportunity is ideal for an attorney with 2-5 years of experience advising employers on workplace issues and defending employment-related claims. The role offers meaningful client interaction, sophisticated legal work, and strong professional development opportunities.

What You'll Do:

• Counsel employers on a broad range of employment law matters, including wage and hour compliance, discrimination, retaliation, paid sick leave, and emerging workplace issues

• Represent management clients in federal and state courts, arbitrations, mediations, and administrative proceedings

• Handle employment disputes involving harassment, discrimination, retaliation, breach of contract, and wage and hour claims

• Draft and argue motions, including dispositive motions

• Manage pleadings, discovery, depositions, witness interviews, and fact investigations

• Prepare responses to administrative charges and agency inquiries

• Draft, review, and negotiate employment agreements, restrictive covenant agreements, and severance agreements

What You Bring:

• Active California Bar admission and good standing

• 2-5 years of employment law counseling and litigation experience

• Experience advising employers on compliance with federal, state, and local employment laws

• Strong legal writing, research, and oral advocacy skills

• Experience handling litigation matters from inception through resolution

• Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment

• Excellent communication, analytical, and client-service skills
