Labor And Employment Attorney

My client, a top national law firm is looking for a Labor and Employment Attorney to join their Los Angeles office

What youll do:

• Represent employers in all aspects of labor and employment litigation, including discrimination, harassment, wage and hour, wrongful termination, and restrictive covenant matters
• Lead and manage all phases of litigation, including case strategy, discovery, depositions, hearings, and trial preparation
• Draft and respond to discovery requests and oversee all facets of the discovery process
• Draft substantive pleadings, dispositive motions, and complex legal memoranda
• Take and defend depositions, argue motions, and appear in court as appropriate
• Advise clients on routine employment issues and risk mitigation strategies
• Collaborate with partners on case strategy while mentoring junior associates
• Communicate with clients, opposing counsel, and third parties professionally and effectively
• Stay current on federal, state, and local employment law

Requirements:

• J.D. from an accredited law school with strong academic credentials
• Admission to the California State Bar 4+ years of labor and employment litigation experience Demonstrated ability to independently manage cases and drive litigation strategy
• Strong writing, analytical, and communication skills
• Experience taking depositions and handling court appearances
• A proactive mindset, strong team orientation, and a commitment to client service and professional growth

Salary and Other Compensation:

The annual salary for this position is between 240k-300k
