Role Description The Escrow Assistant is a full-time, on-site role located in Beverly Hills, CA. This position supports escrow officers with opening, processing, and closing escrow files, including preparing documents, tracking deadlines, and maintaining accurate records. Daily responsibilities include communicating with clients, agents, lenders, and title companies to obtain required information and resolve issues promptly. The Escrow Assistant will review documents for completeness, assist with signing appointments, coordinate funding and disbursements, and ensure compliance with company policies and relevant regulations. The role also involves delivering professional customer service, handling inquiries, and contributing to a smooth and efficient escrow process from start to finish.

Qualifications

  • Proficiency in escrow processes, including opening, processing, and Closings, with attention to accuracy and compliance.
  • Strong Communication skills, both written and verbal, to interact effectively with clients, agents, lenders, and internal team members.
  • Demonstrated Customer Service skills, with a focus on professionalism, responsiveness, and maintaining positive relationships.
  • Ability to perform Notary duties or willingness to obtain a Notary commission, following applicable state requirements.
  • Experience in real estate, escrow, title, or mortgage industries is preferred.
  • Strong organizational and time-management skills, with the ability to prioritize and handle multiple files simultaneously.
  • Comfort using escrow or title software, standard office applications, and maintaining accurate electronic and paper records.
  • High level of integrity, attention to detail, and commitment to protecting confidential information.
