Role Description This is a full-time, on-site role based in Tustin or Huntington Beach with openings for Senior Escrow Officer, Escrow Officer, and Assistant Escrow Officer. Team members will manage escrow files from opening through closing, ensuring accurate documentation, compliance with regulations, and timely processing of funds and paperwork. Daily responsibilities include coordinating with buyers, sellers, lenders, agents, and title companies; preparing and reviewing escrow instructions and settlement statements; and performing detailed file audits. The role involves providing responsive, professional customer service, resolving issues or discrepancies, and maintaining clear communication throughout the transaction. Senior and Escrow Officers may also mentor Assistant Escrow Officers, support process improvements, and contribute to a collaborative, service-driven escrow department. We offer two choices of DFPI escrow companies that are super busy and seeking quality people.
Qualifications
- Escrow and Closings skills, including managing escrow files, preparing closing documents, balancing files, and overseeing the closing process.
- Notary experience and eligibility to act as a Notary Public for real estate closing documents and related escrow transactions.
- Customer Service skills, including clear communication, issue-resolution, and a client-focused approach in a fast-paced environment.
- Residential Real Estate knowledge, including familiarity with purchase, sale, and refinance transactions and related industry practices.
- Proven experience in an escrow role (Senior, Escrow Officer, or Assistant level), preferably within a high-volume or brokerage-affiliated escrow office.
- Strong attention to detail, organization, and accuracy with financial figures and legal documentation.
- Ability to work on-site in Tustin, CA, collaborate with a cross-functional team, and manage multiple files and deadlines.
- Proficiency with escrow and title software systems, general office technology, and secure document handling.
- Knowledge of relevant state and federal regulations affecting escrow and real estate transactions.
