Locksmith

Responsibilities:

• Install, repair, and maintain locks, security hardware, and access control systems across residential, commercial, or automotive settings.
• Diagnose lock and key issues, and rekey, duplicate, or replace locks and keys as needed.
• Respond to lockout calls and emergency service requests in a timely and professional manner.
• Inspect and assess security vulnerabilities, recommending upgrades or solutions to improve safety and access control.
• Maintain accurate records of service calls, parts used, and completed work, while ensuring compliance with relevant licensing and safety regulations.

Requirements:

• Proven experience as a locksmith or in a related trade (e.g., security systems, hardware installation).
• Strong knowledge of lock mechanisms, key systems, and modern security/access control technology.
• Valid locksmith license or certification, where required by state or local regulations.
• Excellent problem-solving skills with strong attention to detail and manual dexterity.
• Reliable transportation and willingness to travel to job sites, including availability for on-call or emergency service as needed.
