Job Title: Operations and Investor Relations Manager
Location: San Francisco Bay Area
Employment Type: Full-Time – Hybrid
About The Company
Granite Capital Group is a 23-year-old investment firm that provides an array of commercial real estate services to accredited investors including sponsored investments, advisory services, structuring and executing 1031 exchanges, asset management, real estate portfolio analysis, and consulting. The company was formed to pursue opportunistic real estate investments in the western United States with a focus on value-add repositioning, ground-up development, and asset management of multifamily, industrial, and retail assets. Our investment partners comprise of high-net-worth families, individual accredited investors, and select institutional investors. We are proud to work with over 250 investment partners, the majority of whom are repeat investors in our projects.
Role Overview
The Operations & Investor Relations Manager is a dynamic, cross functional partner who drives the firm’s daily execution by owning internal operations, human resources coordination, and investor relations. Ideal for an organized, discreet, and self-directed professional, the role goes beyond traditional administrative management. GCG is seeking a proactive problem solver who anticipates operational friction before it arises, independently researches complex issues, masters new software platforms with technical agility, and delivers turnkey solutions to leadership. For a high velocity candidate who takes pride in driving operational excellence, this position offers room for strategic organizational advancement and expanded responsibility.
Key Responsibilities
Executive & Administrative Operations (50%)
- Provide confidential administrative and personal support to the CEO, exercising complete discretion when managing sensitive business, financial, and personal matters.
- Manage the CEO’s calendar, scheduling, travel itineraries, expense reporting, and meeting preparation, including agendas, materials, and follow-up items.
- Act as a central point of coordination linking investments, asset management, accounting, investor relations, and executive leadership.
- Manage company vendors, IT consultants, and software subscriptions.
- Plan and coordinate team offsites, investor gatherings, and company events.
Investor Relations (25%)
- Serve as a polished primary contact for routine and elevated investor inquiries, managing requests with accuracy, efficiency, and discretion.
- Independently prepare, format, and review marketing decks, LP reporting materials, quarterly updates, capital call notices, and distribution communications.
- Maintain strict data integrity across the investor database and portal, keeping records, LP documentation, and distribution schedules complete and up to date.
- Manage investor appreciation initiatives, including seasonal gifting and event logistics.
Human Resources & People Ops (15%)
- Coordinate with our third-party HR provider on payroll processing, benefits enrollment, personnel records, and multi-state employment compliance.
- Keep the employee handbook, workplace policies, and compliance postings current.
- Plan and coordinate quarterly company offsites, team-building activities, and holiday events.
- Support employee onboarding and related administrative processes.
Continuous Improvement & Special Projects (10%)
- Review internal workflows to identify bottlenecks; independently research and implement modern software and workflow improvements to improve team output.
- Draft, implement, and maintain clear Standard Operating Procedures across departments to support scalability.
- Execute special ad hoc projects and strategic initiatives as directed by executive leadership.
Qualifications & Mindset
- High degree of judgment and discretion when handling confidential financial, personal, employee, and investor information.
- Proven ability to research unfamiliar topics, troubleshoot issues, and present finished solutions to leadership independently.
- High standard for accuracy in written work, data entry, and follow-through.
- Excellent drafting and editing skills tailored for high-net-worth investors and senior leaders.
- Comfortable balancing long-term operational projects with daily administrative execution in a dynamic environment.
- Quick to adopt and configure new productivity, CRM, and operational tools.
- Minimum 4+ years in operations, high-level executive support, investor relations, or HR administration—ideally within commercial real estate, private equity, or wealth management.
- Bachelor’s degree in Business, Communications, Finance, or equivalent professional experience.

Base Salary $100,000-$160,000 + bonus + benefits
