Director of Operations / Plant Manager

Location: Westchester County, NY | On-site

ForceBrands is partnering with an established, family-owned specialty food manufacturer on a confidential search for a Director of Operations / Plant Manager.

The business is entering an important stage of growth and is looking for a hands-on manufacturing leader who can strengthen day-to-day operations while helping prepare the organization for its next phase. This person will work closely with ownership, lead an established plant team, support the integration of new production equipment, and play a key role in an upcoming facility relocation.

What You’ll Own:

• Lead day-to-day plant and manufacturing operations
• Develop and support the existing production leadership team
• Improve production flow, throughput, labor utilization, and overall plant efficiency
• Strengthen SOPs, preventive maintenance, training, and operational processes
• Lead the integration of new manufacturing equipment
• Support planning and execution of a future facility relocation, including production layout and workflow
• Improve manufacturing systems and connectivity between plant operations and ERP / accounting systems
• Serve as a strategic partner to ownership, bringing an independent point of view and identifying opportunities for improvement

What We’re Looking For:

• Strong food manufacturing experience required
• Bakery, dessert, specialty food, or adjacent manufacturing experience strongly preferred
• Experience operating in a smaller, entrepreneurial, or family-owned manufacturing environment preferred
• Hands-on experience improving production flow, facility layouts, manufacturing systems, and plant processes
• Experience with a facility move, expansion, redesign, or major production reconfiguration is highly valuable
• Proven ability to lead and develop frontline manufacturing teams
• Comfortable working directly on the plant floor in a fast-moving environment
• Spanish fluency is highly preferred but not required
• Experience supporting acquisition integration is a plus
