Plant Manager

The Plant Manager leads day-to-day manufacturing operations at a CPG food production facility, leading continuous improvement, production and regulatory compliance (FDA, SQF/BRC, OSHA). The successful candidate will have proven experience creating high-performing teams and establishing clear performance indicators, whilst also maintaining a strong culture.

Responsibilities:

• Lead daily production, assessing line efficiency, seeking to reduce downtime.
• Forge strong relationships and accountability amongst leadership and frontline members.
• Maintain OSHA targets, lead safety audits, and foster a zero-incident culture.
• Collaborate with Quality Assurance to uphold FSMA, SQF/BRC, HACCP.
• Drive Lean SS / Continuous improvement projects and coach SOPs in these areas.
• Set clear KPI standards to ensure consistent performance and clear accountability.

Experience:

• Multiple years of proven food/CPG manufacturing leadership
• Proven experience managing 100+ employees across multiple shifts
• Hands-on Lean/Six Sigma knowledge
• Solid understanding of FSMA, HACCP, GMP, and OSHA regulations
• Experience with SQF, BRC, or equivalent food safety certification
• Proficiency with ERP systems
• Experience in high-speed, high-volume food manufacturing
• TPM (Total Productive Maintenance) experience
