What You'll Do

As a Project Engineer, you'll play a key role in supporting the successful delivery of construction projects by:

• Assisting Project Managers in the day-to-day management of one or multiple construction projects
• Visit jobsites multiple times a week
• Review drawings and specifications, and validate sub related RFIs
• Managing RFIs, submittals, meeting minutes, and project documentation
• Support project closeout
• Coordinating LEED, CalGreen, and SWPPP requirements
• Maintaining project logs and tracking schedules
• Working closely with project teams to solve challenges and keep projects moving forward
• Other duties and special projects as required

What We're Looking For

• Bachelor's degree in Construction Management, Civil Engineering, or related field
• Internship experience preferred
• 1-2 years previous experience with a general contractor or subcontractor
• Strong organizational and communication skills
• Detail-oriented with the ability to manage multiple priorities
• Positive attitude and collaborative mindset
• Passion for construction and a desire to build a long-term career in the industry
• Ability to travel to project sites throughout Southern California and our headquarters in Los Alamitos
• Valid Driver License and a good driving record

Compensation & Benefits

Salary Range: $80,000 - $100,000
