Project Engineer | Silicon Valley, CA | $100,000 - $115,000 + Above Market Benefits
Renewyx have partnered with a leading Bay Area general contractor to bring on a Project Engineer.
This GC self-performs a large share of its own work, runs some of the most complex builds in the Valley, and keeps senior leadership genuinely hands-on, which is rare at this end of the market. Open to Project Engineers, Senior Project Engineers, and Field Engineers ready to step up, level and pay will flex to match your experience.
𝗧𝗵𝗲 𝗿𝗼𝗹𝗲:
You'll interpret plans and specs, coordinate subcontractors, run job-site safety, and build out detailed quality checklists. Submittal logs, inspections, tracking daily production for the Superintendent, coordinating self-performed work, all yours to own. This role is built with a clear path toward Superintendent.
𝗪𝗵𝗮𝘁 𝘆𝗼𝘂'𝗹𝗹 𝗯𝗿𝗶𝗻𝗴:
• Experience as a Project Engineer or Field Engineer in commercial construction
• A bachelor's degree in Construction Management, Engineering, or a related field
• Working knowledge of PM and scheduling software (Viewpoint, Primavera, or similar)
𝗡𝗶𝗰𝗲 𝘁𝗼 𝗵𝗮𝘃𝗲 (𝗯𝗼𝗻𝘂𝘀, 𝗻𝗼𝘁 𝗿𝗲𝗾𝘂𝗶𝗿𝗲𝗱):
• Exposure to coordinating self-performed trade work
• An eye on the Superintendent track
• Time across corporate, healthcare, education, hospitality, or tech-sector builds
𝗪𝗵𝗮𝘁'𝘀 𝗼𝗻 𝗼𝗳𝗳𝗲𝗿:
• $100,000 to $115,000+, depending on level (Project Engineer through Senior Project Engineer)
• Permanent, full-time, on-site at Silicon Valley jobsites
