Senior Product Manager

Full job description
Official Title: Senior Product Manager, Enterprise AI Platform
Location: Hybrid, Midtown Manhattan, New York City
Office expectation: Two to three days per week
The Opportunity: Zaddy Solutions is leading the search for a Senior Product Manager on behalf of an established B2B software company with a AI software product line.
The platform helps organizations manage how AI agents connect to business systems, tools, and data. It addresses areas such as authentication, permissions, system visibility, policy enforcement, auditability, and sensitive-data protection. This is a hands-on senior individual-contributor position with meaningful ownership over how the product develops and reaches the market. You will work closely with AI leadership, engineering, product design, customers, and go-to-market teams to turn technical capabilities and customer needs into a clear roadmap and shipped product improvements.
The product and category are still developing. You will not inherit a mature playbook, extensive documentation, or a large product organization. You will help create the structure, priorities, customer-feedback loops, and operating rhythm needed to move the product forward.
Previous ownership of a commercial Model Context Protocol product is not required.
We are interested in candidates with relevant technical foundations who have built with modern AI systems and can quickly develop deeper expertise. Experience building, configuring, or experimenting with Model Context Protocol servers is strongly preferred, including professional projects, prototypes, open-source work, or credible independent development.
What You Will Own:
- Own and maintain the product roadmap, backlog, and prioritization process
- Translate customer problems and business objectives into clear requirements and acceptance criteria
- Partner closely with engineering and design from discovery through launch and iteration
- Interview customers, prospects, partners, and internal stakeholders to understand workflows and unmet needs
- Use product data, customer feedback, and market signals to guide decisions
- Define success metrics related to adoption, usage, reliability, customer value, and commercial performance
- Evaluate tradeoffs involving speed, complexity, usability, security, and business impact
- Support product launches in partnership with Sales, Marketing, and Customer Success
- Help connect the product to the company’s broader technology and data-governance strategy
- Establish lightweight, repeatable product-management practices without creating unnecessary process
- Participate in selected customer, partner, and industry conversations as a product expert
What Success Looks Like in Your First Year:
- Develop a strong understanding of the product’s architecture, capabilities, users, market position, and commercial potential
- Build effective working relationships across engineering, design, go-to-market, and company leadership
- Own a clear, evidence-based roadmap informed by customer feedback, usage data, technical priorities, and business goals
- Establish repeatable practices for discovery, prioritization, delivery, release management, and performance measurement
- Ship meaningful product improvements that strengthen usability, reliability, adoption, and customer value
- Position the product effectively within the company’s broader portfolio and go-to-market strategy
- Become a trusted internal authority who gives product, engineering, design, and commercial teams the clarity needed to execute
What You Bring:
- Approximately five or more years of product-management experience
- Meaningful ownership of an externally sold B2B SaaS product
- Experience taking products or major features from discovery through launch and iteration
- Experience working closely with engineering and design teams in a startup, growth-stage company, or similarly fast-moving environment
- Hands-on exposure to AI or LLM-powered products, including agents, tool calling, workflow automation, integrations, or retrieval
- Working knowledge of APIs, authentication, permissions, data flows, system integrations, and technical failure modes
- The ability to understand technical architecture and make informed product tradeoffs with engineers
- Experience collecting customer feedback and converting it into product priorities
- Strong quantitative reasoning and the ability to use data to evaluate product performance
- Clear writing, thoughtful communication, and sound decision-making
- The ability to move from an unclear problem to a practical recommendation without excessive process
- Comfort operating as a senior individual contributor without a large support structure
- Eligibility to work in the United States
Particularly Relevant Experience in One or More of the Following Areas Would Be Especially Valuable:
- Model Context Protocol
- AI agents and agent orchestration
- Developer platforms or developer tools
- API management and enterprise integrations
- Identity, authentication, or access management
- Data infrastructure, observability, or governance
- Enterprise security or privacy technology
- Workflow automation
- Zero-to-one product development
Education:
- A bachelor’s degree or equivalent practical experience is required.
- A degree in computer science, engineering, information systems, human-computer interaction, design, business, or another analytical field may be helpful, but a specific degree or advanced degree is not required.
- Demonstrated product judgment, technical fluency, and shipped work will carry more weight than academic pedigree.
This Role May Not Be the Right Fit If:
- Your experience is primarily limited to internal tools rather than commercially sold software
- You have advised on AI strategy but have not helped ship AI-enabled products
- You are primarily interested in managing people rather than personally owning product execution
- You require mature processes, extensive documentation, or a large product organization
- You are uncomfortable working directly with engineers on APIs, integrations, authentication, and system behavior
- You cannot work from the company’s Midtown Manhattan office two to three days per week
Benefits include:
- Employer-supported 401(k) plan
- 100% employee health-insurance coverage
- Paid vacation
- Hybrid workplace
- Professional-development opportunities
- Team events and company gatherings
- Flexible working practices
- Additional employee benefits and office amenities
Why Consider This Opportunity?
- Take meaningful ownership of a new product in an emerging enterprise technology category
- Work directly with the people responsible for the product’s original vision and development
- Help define how organizations securely connect AI agents to business systems
- Influence product strategy, customer adoption, and commercial direction
- Operate with early-stage ownership while benefiting from the resources of an established global company
- Join a collaborative team working across AI, security, privacy, and responsible data use
If you are excited about the opportunity but do not meet every preferred qualification, we still encourage you to apply. We are looking for evidence of product ownership, technical curiosity, learning agility, and the ability to build effectively in an emerging market. Zaddy Solutions will conduct the initial evaluation and screening process. Additional information about the company and product will be shared with qualified candidates as they progress.
