Hays is partnering with a well-established commercial real estate services firm to recruit a Senior Property Manager in Southern California. This role offers the opportunity to oversee a high-profile commercial portfolio, lead property management operations, and work directly with ownership groups while supporting a strong and collaborative team environment.


Your New Role

  • Lead day to day operations of a commercial property portfolio
  • Manage relationships with property owners, tenants, vendors, and internal teams
  • Oversee annual budgets, financial reporting, forecasting, and expense management
  • Track budget variances, cash flow, and accounts payable processes
  • Conduct regular property inspections and ensure properties are maintained to a high standard
  • Oversee vendor contracts, construction projects, and capital improvement initiatives
  • Ensure compliance with company policies, lease requirements, and local regulations
  • Mentor and support property management staff while fostering a positive team culture
  • Resolve tenant concerns and deliver exceptional customer service


What You'll Need to Succeed

  • 5+ years of commercial property management experience
  • Strong background in budgeting, financial reporting, and property operations
  • Experience managing relationships with institutional or third-party ownership groups
  • Proven leadership experience supervising teams and vendor partners
  • Knowledge of commercial leases, contracts, and tenant relations
  • Strong communication, organization, and problem-solving skills
  • CPM, RPA, or similar industry designation preferred
  • Real estate license preferred
