Title: Technical Account Manager

Location: Bay Area, CA


OVERVIEW: LITEON designs and manufactures power supplies, keyboards, ODD, racks, enclosures, and liquid cooling for a variety of customers in the server, storage, networking, and consumer space. With headquarters in Taipei, Taiwan, and branch offices in the United States, LITEON is looking for a creative, best-in-class professional who will thrive in a fast-paced, highly technical environment. The successful candidate will have exceptional communication, leadership, and team-working skills and will be unafraid of stretching their talents in a dynamic organization where respect and knowledge are far more important than reporting structure. Collaboration with colleagues at all levels will be key to this person’s success at LITEON.


JOB DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

The Technical Account Manager (TAM) is hands-on and responsible for driving LITEON relationships at Tier 1 accounts, including strategic hyperscale customers. The primary focus will be on power supplies, liquid cooling, and mechanical enclosures/racks. This person owns the relationship with engineering at strategic accounts on behalf of LITEON.


  1. Drive sales growth and consistently exceed revenue budgets across Tier 1 hyperscale customers, including Google and Meta.
  2. Conduct quarterly business reviews with account management, supporting strategic direction and roadmap alignment with key customers.
  3. Track monthly reporting attainment to KPIs once established, particularly for hyperscale and data center customers.
  4. Identify and develop opportunities across all LITEON business units within strategic hyperscaler environments.
  5. Analyze customer needs and collaborate with internal management and engineering teams to develop effective strategies supporting customers such as Google and Meta.
  6. Build strong customer relationships and comprehensive understanding to influence hierarchy, product and business roadmaps, vendor selection processes, decision-making criteria, and competitive awareness at major hyperscale accounts.
  7. Foster a customer-centric mindset, focusing on long-term partnerships with key strategic customers.


QUALIFICATIONS:

  1. Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering, Power Electronics, or a related field preferred.
  2. 5+ years of related or equivalent experience in the server industry in a Sales Account Manager or Technical Account Manager role.
  3. Capable of working in a constantly evolving environment without losing focus.
  4. Ability to multitask effectively in a dynamic environment.
  5. Expert analytical and problem-solving skills.
  6. Strong time-management and organizational skills for coordinating multiple initiatives, priorities, and implementations of new technology and products into complex projects.
  7. Ability to identify issues, obtain relevant information, analyze and compare data from different sources, and develop alternative solutions.
  8. Strong written and oral communication skills in English, with the ability to effectively collaborate with management and engineering teams; bilingual English/Mandarin is a plus.
  9. Ability to manage resources, monitor activities, and assess risks and quality issues associated with programs or projects.
  10. Flexibility to work some evening hours as needed.
  11. Proficient in Microsoft Office tools, including Word, Excel, Outlook, Teams, and PowerPoint.
