Job Title: Director of Operations

Location: Syracuse 13206

Employment Type: Full-Time

Salary Range: $110- 130 plus 10% bonus (The salary may be negotiable based on experience, education, geographic location, and other factors)

Overview

We are seeking a hands-on Director of Operations to lead manufacturing, production, supply chain, planning, quality, logistics, and maintenance functions. This leader will drive operational excellence, improve manufacturing efficiency, implement continuous improvement initiatives, and build scalable processes to support company growth.

Responsibilities

• Lead all manufacturing and production operations.
• Oversee production planning, scheduling, inventory, logistics, and supply chain.
• Drive Lean Manufacturing, 5S, Kaizen, and continuous improvement initiatives.
• Improve productivity, throughput, quality, and customer delivery performance.
• Manage ERP-driven production planning and inventory control.
• Develop manufacturing KPIs and operational dashboards.
• Lead safety, quality assurance, and compliance programs.
• Mentor and develop operations leadership teams.
• Partner with engineering, project management, and business development to ensure successful project execution.
• Support long-term operational strategy and capacity planning.

Required Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Operations Management, Manufacturing, Supply Chain, or related field.
• 5+ years of manufacturing operations leadership experience.
• Strong background in manufacturing, production planning, inventory management, and supply chain.
• Experience with ERP systems.
• Experience implementing Lean Manufacturing, 5S, Kaizen, or Six Sigma.
• Strong leadership, communication, and problem-solving skills.

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience in process manufacturing.
• Proven success leading operational improvements.
• Strong leadership and coaching experience.
• Hands-on approach with a continuous improvement mindset.
