The Marketing Specialist is responsible for supporting and executing the company’s marketing, branding, and visual content initiatives. This position will serve as a key resource for capturing and showcasing our projects, people, capabilities, and company culture across digital and traditional marketing channels.
The ideal candidate is creative, organized, self-motivated, and comfortable working both in an office environment and in the field. This role will work closely with project teams and company leadership to ensure our brand is represented professionally and consistently across photography, video, social media, the company website, and marketing collateral.
We’re looking for you to do the following:
Drone Coverage & Aerial Content
- Coordinate and capture drone photography and video of active jobsites, completed projects, company facilities, and special events.
- Develop a regular schedule for documenting project progress through aerial imagery.
- Organize and maintain a library of drone footage for marketing, proposals, presentations, and project documentation.
- Ensure all drone operations comply with applicable FAA regulations, company policies, and jobsite safety requirements.
- Coordinate with project managers and field personnel before conducting drone operations.
Video Creation & Production
- Plan, capture, edit, and produce professional video content highlighting company projects, employees, capabilities, and culture.
- Create project highlight videos, recruiting content, company overview videos, employee spotlights, and social media content.
- Develop short-form video content suitable for platforms such as LinkedIn, Instagram, Facebook, and the company website.
- Maintain and organize the company’s video library for future use.
Website Management
- Serve as the company’s primary marketing point of contact for the website.
- Coordinate website updates, including project profiles, photography, videos, company news, employee information, and service offerings.
- Work with internal stakeholders and outside website vendors as necessary.
- Regularly review website content to ensure information is current, accurate, and consistent with company branding.
- Identify opportunities to improve website content, imagery, and overall presentation.
Social Media Management
- Serve as the primary point of contact for company social media accounts.
- Develop and manage a consistent social media content calendar.
- Create, schedule, and publish posts featuring projects, employees, company milestones, community involvement, recruiting efforts, and industry-related content.
- Coordinate with project teams to identify stories, milestones, and accomplishments worth highlighting.
- Monitor engagement and basic performance metrics to identify opportunities to improve content.
- Maintain a consistent company voice, brand, and professional image across all platforms.
Jobsite Photography
- Regularly visit jobsites to capture high-quality photography of project progress, crews, equipment, milestones, and completed work.
- Coordinate photography needs with project managers and field leadership.
- Capture professional images for use on social media, the company website, proposals, presentations, recruiting materials, and company collateral.
- Maintain an organized and searchable digital photo library.
- Ensure all photography activities follow company and jobsite safety requirements.
Company Collateral & Brand Materials
- Develop, update, and maintain company marketing collateral, including:
- Company brochures
- Service and capability sheets
- Project handouts
- Recruiting materials
- Trade show and event materials
- Presentations
- Project profiles and case studies
- Branded templates and other promotional materials
- Work with leadership and internal teams to ensure materials accurately communicate the company’s capabilities and differentiators.
- Maintain consistency in company branding, messaging, photography, logos, fonts, and visual standards.
- Coordinate with printers, designers, photographers, and other outside vendors as needed.
Additional Responsibilities
- Maintain an organized digital library of company photos, videos, logos, templates, and marketing materials.
- Support company events, recruiting initiatives, trade shows, community involvement, and employee engagement activities from a marketing perspective.
- Work with project teams to identify noteworthy projects, milestones, and stories that can be used for marketing purposes.
- Assist with marketing needs for proposals, presentations, and business development efforts.
- Develop new ideas for showcasing the company’s work, employees, expertise, and culture.
- Monitor industry and competitor marketing trends and recommend opportunities to strengthen the company’s presence.
- Perform other marketing and communications responsibilities as needed.
You Have:
- Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Communications, Digital Media, Graphic Design, or a related field preferred.
- Experience in marketing, content creation, photography, videography, or social media management preferred.
- Strong photography and video production/editing skills.
- Experience with Adobe Creative Cloud, Canva, or similar design and editing software.
- Experience managing business social media accounts.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills.
- Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple projects and deadlines.
- Comfortable working independently and taking ownership of marketing initiatives.
- Ability and willingness to travel locally to active jobsites and company events.
- Comfortable working around construction operations and following jobsite safety requirements.
- Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation.
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience working in the construction, engineering, utility, infrastructure, or related industries.
- Experience with drone photography and videography.
- FAA Part 107 Remote Pilot Certificate, or willingness to obtain certification.
- Experience with website content management systems.
- Experience with Adobe Premiere Pro, Photoshop, Lightroom, Illustrator, InDesign, or similar software.
- Basic understanding of digital marketing analytics and social media performance metrics.
