Payables Accountant

A well-established company in the construction industry is seeking a detail-oriented Construction Accounts Payable & Job Cost Coordinator to support project accounting, accounts payable, and job cost administration.

Key Responsibilities

• Process vendor and subcontractor invoices
• Code invoices, job costs, and project expenses accurately
• Maintain subcontractor records, lien waivers, insurance certificates, and compliance documentation
• Support certified payroll and prevailing wage reporting
• Assist with employee timecard review and job cost tracking
• Help ensure accounting records, approvals, and documentation are complete and up to date

What We're Looking For

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting or related field
• 2+ years of accounts payable, bookkeeping, project accounting, or construction accounting experience
• Experience with QuickBooks Enterprise or a similar accounting system
• Strong Excel and data entry skills
• Knowledge of job costing, invoice processing, and subcontractor documentation
• Highly organized with exceptional attention to detail
