Renewyx have partnered with a well-established general contractor in Silicon Valley to find a Project Engineer ready to get into the detail of commercial construction delivery and grow toward a senior role.

This is a contractor with an active Bay Area pipeline, a strong project team structure, and a reputation for developing PEs who want to build a real career in construction.

𝗧𝗵𝗲 𝗿𝗼𝗹𝗲:

Reporting to the Project Manager and Superintendent, you will own the administrative, contractual, financial, and technical threads that keep a commercial project running. Change orders, budgets, schedules, subcontractor billings, bid analysis — you are the engine room of the project team.

𝗪𝗵𝗮𝘁 𝘆𝗼𝘂'𝗹𝗹 𝗯𝗿𝗶𝗻𝗴:

• 3+ years of experience as a Project Engineer in commercial construction
• Solid understanding of cost control, scheduling, estimating, budgets, and procurement
• Experience analysing change order requests and subcontractor change orders
• Comfortable preparing schedule of values, owner billings, and cash flow charts
• Proficiency with Primavera or similar scheduling tools; Viewpoint or comparable PM software
• Sharp on data — you can analyse, interpret, and turn it into a clear recommendation
• Bachelor's degree in Construction Management, Engineering, or related field
