Safety Manager

Well established and respected heavy civil construction company has an immediate need for a SAFETY MANAGER.

As Safety Manager your responsibilities will include: overseeing the project based field staff in the areas of incident reporting, safety orientation, audits and training.

Additional Responsibilities:

• Responsible for liaising with clients, owners and other subcontractors and the review of investigations, medical and various other reports

• Monitoring the implementation of corrective measures

• Assisting with the documentation of safety and environmental incidents

• Assisting with the development and communication of safety statistics

Minimum Requirements

• 4 + years experience in heavy highway / heavy civil project safety management

• Experience with leading safety orientations, project specific inspections and leading training initiatives.

• OSHA 30-hour Construction Safety and Health Course

• CPR and First Aid Training

• Excellent knowledge of applicable safety regulations

• Ability to effectively communicate with people
