Role Description This full-time Escrow Officer role is an on-site position based in Irvine, CA. The Escrow Officer manages escrow files from opening to closing, including preparing and reviewing escrow instructions, coordinating with lenders, agents, buyers, and sellers, and ensuring all documents are accurate and compliant. Day-to-day responsibilities include handling residential real estate transactions, scheduling and overseeing closings, and performing notary services as required. The role involves maintaining clear communication with clients, providing timely updates, resolving issues, and delivering a high level of customer service throughout each transaction. The Escrow Officer also helps improve internal processes and supports team collaboration to maintain a high standard of service.
Qualifications
- Candidates should possess strong escrow knowledge and experience managing escrow files for real estate transactions.
- Candidates should possess skills in closings, including coordinating closing timelines, preparing settlement statements, and overseeing final document execution.
- Candidates should possess customer service skills, with the ability to communicate clearly, manage expectations, and build positive client relationships.
- Candidates should possess experience in residential real estate, including familiarity with purchase agreements, lender requirements, and local escrow practices.
- Relevant qualifications include prior experience as an Escrow Officer or Escrow Assistant, strong attention to detail, proficiency with escrow and title software, and the ability to manage multiple files and deadlines.
- Additional beneficial qualifications include knowledge of California real estate and escrow regulations, strong organizational and problem-solving skills, and the ability to work collaboratively in an on-site team environment.
