Senior Operations Lead & Product Expert

Full job description
Nexys is the AI Loan Operating System for investor real estate lending. DSCR, ground up construction, bridge, and RTL. Private lenders have spent a decade choosing between legacy origination systems that force them to change how they operate, and custom builds that turn into permanent maintenance projects. We think both options are wrong. Nexys standardizes loan workflows through AI processing, AI underwriting, fraud prevention, configurable workflows, and native integrations, so lenders can originate faster and deliver files in a format capital markets already trust.
Standardized for capital. Flexible for lenders. That is the thesis, and it is working.
Nexys is hiring a Senior Operations Lead & Product Expert. This is a senior role on our operations team, to help grow our operations as a player coach. You will own how lenders get onto Nexys and how they perform once they are live. Implementation, enablement, support, and a real seat in the demo room. You will take an implementation approach that already gets lenders originating and turn it into a scaled, certified, repeatable program that carries us through the next stage of growth. We are growing triple digit quarter over quarter. This role exists to stay in front of that.
Responsibilities:
Implementation
Lead new lender implementations end to end. Scope the workflow, configure the platform, map conditions and document requirements, handle data migration, train the team, and get them originating live. Own the timeline and the outcome.
Enablement and certification
Build the formal training layer. Written guides, video walkthroughs, role-based curriculum for processors, underwriters, and servicing teams, and a certification program that makes a lender's staff genuinely fluent in the platform. Turning platform expertise into a product our customers can consume on their own is a core deliverable of this role.
Support
Own our support operation and scale it. Triage, resolve, escalate, and close the loop with product. You will be the bridge that turns recurring customer questions into documentation, training content, and product improvements.
Demos and presales partnership
Work alongside sales on product demos. You will be the person who can go three layers deep when a Head of Ops asks how draw management works on a construction loan, or when a capital markets lead asks what the file looks like on delivery.
Operational scale
Extend our implementation and support playbooks into a system that supports a much larger team. Runbooks, checklists, service standards, escalation paths, and QA. Build it, document it, and make it hold up through the next stage of growth.
Qualifications:
You know loans. You have worked in private lending, hard money, or investor real estate finance. Origination, processing, underwriting, servicing, or capital markets. You know what a DSCR calculation requires, why an RTL draw schedule is different from a purchase file, and what a loan buyer looks for when they diligence a tape.
You are technical. You are comfortable with APIs, webhooks, and integrations. You can read a payload, test an endpoint, and have a real conversation with an engineer without a translator. You do not need to ship production code. You do need to be dangerous.
You are AI first. You already use AI in your daily work and you have informed opinions about where it helps and where it does not. You will be working inside a product built on AI processing and AI underwriting, and we want someone who pushes on what else it can do.
You are a self starter. Startup pace, a lot of hats, and the autonomy that comes with both. You do not wait for a process to be handed to you. You build it, ship it, and improve it next month.
You can teach. A large part of this job is making other people excellent at something. Clear writing and patient explanation are core requirements, not soft skills.
