Salary Range: $60,000–$65,000 per year

Position Summary

Top client is looking to hire a staff accountant to join the corporate accounting team. This role will support a variety of accounting functions, including general ledger, Accounts Receivable, Accounts Payable, reconciliations, financial reporting, and month-end close.

Key Responsibilities

• Prepare journal entries and perform account reconciliations.
• Assist with month-end and year-end close processes.
• Review financial information and research discrepancies or variances.
• Support accounts receivable and accounts Payable activities.
• Maintain accurate general ledger records and financial documentation.
• Assist with financial reporting and analysis.
• Support sales tax and other accounting compliance activities as needed.
• Assist with audits and provide requested documentation.
• Work collaboratively with internal departments on accounting-related matters.
• Help identify opportunities to improve accounting processes and procedures.
• Perform other accounting duties and special projects as assigned.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting, or Finance preferred.
• One plus years of accounting experience.
• Understanding of basic accounting principles and U.S. GAAP.
• Strong Excel skills.
• Experience with an accounting or ERP systems preferred.
• Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.
• Ability to manage multiple priorities and meet deadlines.
• Team-oriented with a willingness to learn and grow.
