Traveling Superintendent- Federal

Location: Traveling – Projects Across the U.S.

Employment Type: Full-Time

A growing general contractor is seeking an experienced Traveling Superintendent to oversee federal construction projects across the United States.

This is an excellent opportunity for a Superintendent with federal construction experience who is comfortable traveling and wants to join a company with a strong pipeline of upcoming work.

Responsibilities

• Oversee day-to-day field operations on federal construction projects
• Manage and coordinate subcontractors, field crews, vendors, and deliveries
• Maintain project schedules and ensure work stays on track
• Ensure work is completed according to plans, specifications, and quality standards
• Lead jobsite safety and quality control efforts
• Coordinate closely with Project Managers and project teams
• Conduct site meetings and provide project updates
• Resolve field issues and keep projects moving forward
• Manage projects through completion and closeout

Qualifications

• Federal construction project experience required
• Previous experience as a Superintendent or in a similar field leadership position
• Strong knowledge of construction operations and jobsite management
• Experience coordinating subcontractors and field teams
• Strong leadership and communication skills
• Ability and willingness to travel nationwide
• Experience working with federal agencies or on government facilities is a plus
