Full job description
Excellent opportunity for straight public audit candidates to transition into private! The intention is for this person to grow into Assistant Controller in a couple of years. Hybrid schedule (3 days in, 2 from home.) Great benefits with 401k match and strong M/D/V.
Responsibilities
- Assist with month, quarterly, and year end close
- Journal entries
- Bank reconciliations
- Assist in preparation and distribution of financial statements
- Prepare financial statements and supporting schedules according to monthly close schedule
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting
- 3 + years' experience in accounting
- Proficient in Microsoft Excel and large ERP system experience (not just QuickBooks)
