Commercial Property Manager


A growing commercial real estate investment company is seeking a hands-on Commercial Property Manager to oversee the day-to-day operations of its portfolio. This is an entrepreneurial environment where the Property Manager will work closely with the managing principals and have significant ownership over property operations, tenant relationships, building maintenance, and capital projects.


Responsibilities

  • Oversee day-to-day management and operations of commercial properties.
  • Develop strong relationships with tenants and serve as the primary point of contact for property-related matters.
  • Supervise building staff, vendors, contractors, and service providers.
  • Oversee preventative maintenance, repairs, inspections, building compliance, and overall property condition.
  • Conduct regular property inspections and proactively identify opportunities to improve operations and asset performance.
  • Manage vendor relationships, service contracts, operating expenses, and property budgets.
  • Coordinate renovations, capital improvements, and tenant improvement projects, working closely with ownership, architects, engineers, and contractors.
  • Monitor project budgets, schedules, invoices, and completion.
  • Support leasing and marketing initiatives in partnership with the managing principals.
  • Provide regular updates to ownership regarding property operations, tenant matters, maintenance, and capital projects.


Qualifications

  • 5+ years of commercial property management experience.
  • Strong understanding of building operations, maintenance, tenant relations, and vendor management.
  • Experience with renovations, capital projects, or tenant improvements preferred.
  • Highly organized, proactive, and solutions-oriented.
  • Strong communication and problem-solving skills.
  • Ability to work independently and take ownership of responsibilities.
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office; property management software experience preferred.
