Must have experience in Project accounting, preferably in Construction.
Operational & Financial Analysis
- Analyze financial and operational data to identify trends, risks, and opportunities for improvement
- Conduct resource utilization and gap analyses to support workforce planning and efficiency
- Perform quality control reviews of billing and invoicing processes to ensure accuracy and consistency
Reporting & Data Management
- Develop, maintain, and distribute recurring reports and dashboards on key metrics (e.g., staffing, productivity, forecast accuracy, attrition, and operating costs)
- Own and maintain workforce and support datasets across systems, ensuring data integrity and accessibility
- Monitor KPIs and proactively identify anomalies, trends, and data quality issues
Process Improvement & Optimization
- Evaluate current business processes and identify opportunities for optimization and automation
- Create process maps, workflows, and documentation for both current and future-state operations
- Partner with stakeholders to implement process improvements and track impact
- Support ad hoc analysis and reporting requests
- Review and analyze all project billings with particular scrutiny given to CM projects
- Audit CM project accounting procedures. Documenting and developing new procedures as needed to ensure accurate accounting practices
- Serve as the primary contact and liaison between other company office locations (Los Angeles, Hamptons, Miami, etc.) and the accounting department
- Observe, record and analyze operational findings to identify performance improvement opportunities
- Auditing subcontractor payments to ensure accuracy and timeliness
- Perform resource utilization and gap analysis
